The company is located in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province, and is a major business and trade center in western China. It was ranked first in the Milken Institute's 2017 ranking of China's most successful large cities. Sichuan has two high-tech development zones: The Chengdu New and Hi tech Industries Development Zone (CDDZ) and The Mianyang New and Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone (MYDZ).

A number of well-known local enterprises and brands have been established in Sichuan, including the country's largest color TV manufacturer, Changhong Electric. Group Co. Ltd., Panzhihua Steel Group, alcohol producers Wuliangye Group, Jiannanchun Group and Luzhoulaojiao, drug manufacturers Di'ao Group Company and Di'kang Group, and animal feed company New Hope.

A well-developed network of railroads covers the entire province. Chengdu is the largest railway hub in southwest China. The connection with 60 foreign cities has a positive effect on local exports: by April 2021 more than 8,000 freight trains of China-Europe Railway Express (CR Express) had departed from Chengdu. The main goods transported are computer equipment and components, automobiles, clothing, fruit, etc.
